Hi, I’m Jasmine a Houston based international Hair & Makeup artist, Owner of Markey Hair & Makeup, Specializing in all things glam!

Whatever your need, we can achieve!

My history in the industry goes back 5+ years. From a small village in North Wales, nestled in the United Kingdom (UK), I knew my passion and I knew I was destined for bigger things. I trained for 2 years @Theschoolofmakeup in Manchester UK. Learning the art & skills required for Television, Film and Theatre along with Bridal, SFX (Special effects) and Fashion. Through this training I developed many skills, it enabled me to narrow down my focus and ignite my passion which soon became clear it was all things Glam & Bridal. After graduating I dabbled in the media industry working on projects for Netflix & The BBC from 2017-2018. This time solidified my desire to work in a field of the industry where I can develop connections on a more meaningful and personal level with my clients. Towards the end of 2018 I began offering my skills and services to all my wonderful clients. In 2020 my life took a dramatic change of direction and landed me here in Houston TX during a pandemic!
Over the last couple of years, I have grown my business & glammed up so many wonderful women. hearing your stories and to become part of your special days makes me feel so honored!

Growing up in Germany, I developed a passion for makeup at a young age, inspired by my mother’s confidence-boosting beauty routine. In 2016, I followed my dream and moved to the United States, specifically to New York City – the fashion capital of the world and a hub for creativity and opportunity.
